The newly commissioned Ipetumodu City Library aims to enhance educational access and foster knowledge for students in the area. Barrister Banji Akinloye, speaking on behalf of the IDF, praised the vision behind the project, which was spearheaded by Chief Femi Adesina, the Oluomo of Ipetumodu, with financial backing from the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and contributions from the IDF.
Reflecting on Ipetumodu’s educational history, Akinloye described the library as a return to academic excellence, serving as a beacon of hope for the community’s youth. The library is part of the larger Ipetumodu City House project, funded by the IDF, marking a major step in the town’s educational development.
Deacon Awoleke Tony, Chairman of the Library Project Committee, recognized the IDF team’s hard work and called for continued support from individuals and organizations to ensure the project’s completion and long-term success.



The library is seen as a valuable resource for future generations, with a commitment to its long-term sustainability. Engr. Kazeem Afolabi highlights its role in promoting education, aiming to eliminate ignorance and foster a culture of learning among youth.



The commissioning of the Ipetumodu City Library highlighted the community’s dedication to education and progress. Chief Engr. SS2 student Oyebamiji Akin expressed excitement about the library’s potential to enhance students’ academic success.
